If you are willing to venture into more uncharterred territory when looking at  elliptical workout machines, you may consider the Octane elliptical walkers. Yes, we had never heard of them before until recently. This is a company based out of Minnesota. Although they are new to the marketplace, its executives have over 48 years of experience in the exercise equipment industry. The company has essentially two elliptical workout machines, the Q35 and the Q35e. Both Octane elliptical walkers are sold only through retail.
We should point out that Octane's only focus is to produce elliptical workout machines. In fact, if you were to visit their website, you would only see the Octane elliptical walkers in their product page, no treadmills or home gyms. While this is certainly admirable, it will be challenging for it to compete with some of the 800 lb gorillas in the industry.
